Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the tutoring services provided by Brave Heart Learning Hub ("we", "us", "our"), a subsidiary of Brave Heart XP Dynamics Ltd. By booking a session, completing a consultation, or otherwise engaging our services, you ("the parent", "guardian", or "client") agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and the child receiving tuition.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with a booking.
2. Definitions
- Session: a scheduled online tutoring lesson, delivered one-on-one or in a small group.
- Consultation: an introductory conversation to understand a child's needs before tuition begins.
- One-on-One Mode: tuition delivered privately to a single child.
- Small-Group Mode: tuition delivered to a group of no more than three children.
- Learner: the child receiving tuition.
3. Our services
We provide structured, online tutoring for learners from Kindergarten to Grade 5, primarily in Mathematics, English, reading and numeracy, and other foundational subjects. Tuition is available in two modes: One-on-One and Small-Group.
We aim to support each child's academic growth, but we do not guarantee specific grades, examination results, or outcomes, as progress depends on many factors including attendance, engagement, and effort between sessions.
4. Bookings & scheduling
Sessions and consultations are booked through our online scheduling system. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive confirmation and joining details by email.
- Please book using accurate details and the correct time zone.
- Confirmed session times are reserved exclusively for your child.
- We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking where necessary, giving you as much notice as reasonably possible.
5. Small-group sessions
Small-Group Mode is strictly limited to a maximum of three learners per group, to protect the quality, focus, and individual attention each child receives.
- Group placement depends on availability and on matching children of a similar level and stage; we cannot guarantee immediate placement.
- Group composition is at our discretion and is arranged in the best interest of all learners.
- Where a suitable group is not available, we may recommend One-on-One Mode instead.
6. Fees & payment
Tuition is provided on a monthly subscription basis:
- One-on-One Mode: $120 per month (or the equivalent in your local currency).
- Small-Group Mode: $100 per month, per child (or the equivalent in your local currency).
Fees may be settled in US Dollars, Euros, or your local currency equivalent. Payment is due monthly, in advance, and sessions may not proceed where payment has not been received. Fees may be reviewed from time to time, and you will be notified in advance of any change affecting you. A full breakdown is available on our pricing page.
7. Cancellations, rescheduling & missed sessions
We understand that plans change. To keep scheduling fair for every family, our policy is as follows:
- Please give at least one week (7 days') notice to cancel or reschedule a session.
- Where prior notice is given, the session will be covered by a makeup class arranged at a mutually convenient time, at no additional charge.
- If a learner does not attend without prior notice (a "no-show"), the session is charged in full and no makeup class is provided.
- If we ever need to cancel a session, we will arrange a makeup class or, where appropriate, a credit.
8. Safeguarding & child protection
The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful online learning environment.
- A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising the learner's environment during online sessions and should remain reachable throughout.
- We encourage sessions to take place in a shared or visible area of the home rather than in private, closed spaces.
- Our tutor maintains professional boundaries at all times and will not contact a child privately outside of scheduled, parent-arranged sessions.
- Any safeguarding concern will be handled with the utmost seriousness and, where required, in line with applicable child-protection obligations.
9. Parent & guardian responsibilities
- Ensure the learner is ready, on time, and in a suitable, quiet environment for each session.
- Provide accurate information about the child's needs, level, and any relevant learning considerations.
- Support agreed practice or activities between sessions to help your child progress.
- Ensure a working device and internet connection are available (see Section 13).
10. Code of conduct
We are committed to a respectful, encouraging learning environment. We ask that learners and parents engage courteously with our tutor and any group members. We reserve the right to pause or discontinue services, without refund of sessions already delivered, in cases of abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.
11. Learning materials & intellectual property
Any worksheets, resources, lesson content, and materials we provide remain the intellectual property of Brave Heart Learning Hub and are supplied for the personal, educational use of the enrolled learner only. They may not be copied, resold, redistributed, or shared publicly without our written permission.
12. Privacy & data protection
We collect and handle personal information, such as parent and child details, only as needed to provide our services, and we treat it with care and confidentiality. Full details of how we collect, use, and protect your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Technology requirements
Online sessions require a reliable internet connection and a suitable device with a working camera, microphone, and speaker. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by a client's equipment or connection. Where a session is materially affected by a fault on our side, we will offer a reschedule or credit.
14. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes dependent on factors outside our control (such as attendance, engagement, or third-party platforms). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
